Brokenwood - Indigo Pinot Noir 2021 750ml"Medium colour with excellent purple hues. On release at 12 months of age aromas are still quite fruit driven with lifted charry oak. A serious young Pinot Noir with fragrant dark cherry, toasty oak, and wholebunch aromas. Soft entry to the palate, with dark fruit characters supported by ripe tannins. Oak is noticeable at this early stage but it adds plenty of complexity. A Pinot Noir that will age well over the medium term." Brokenwood Wines Style

good length and nicely focused

This is Shiraz from Indigo Vineyard and Pinot Noir from Brunnen (the shaded south-east corner we always put to Rosé)

The palate is medium-bodied with more supple tannins than usual (that word is apt – there is nothing “soft” about this Saint-Julien)
