Meo Camuzet, Vosne Romanee Vintage:2019(75% of the blend derives from 35+ year old vines in Les Barreaux and the remainder from 60+ year old vines in Aux Communes). Mild reduction masks the underlying fruit but not the spice nuances that can also be found on the velvety, round and seductively textured medium bodied flavors that deliver very solid depth and persistence on the lively finish. This is at once very Vosne in character with supporting tannins that are slightly finer than usual.

This is evolving glacially and certainly much slower than I originally foresaw but it should be a stunner of a Clos de Vougeot when it finally reaches its peak

2009 and 2010 are both outstanding Pomerol's

with a chalky sensation and a finish that is a mixture of juiciness

A notably ripe yet attractively fresh nose is made up of spice
