1950’s Vintage Marlborough Shape Grindley Porcelain Creamer & Open Sugar Bowl – Rare Kingfisher Pattern GlasswareDesigned and released under the Royal Petal range with Marlborough shape, a porcelain creamer and open sugar bowl manufactured by Grindley between 1940 and 1959 when this particular pattern was discontinued. The creamer and sugar bowl each have fluted sides and both items are decorated with colourful Kingfisher birds and floral patterning. This is a rare pattern by Grindley which is seldom encountered. The items are each stamped underneath Marlborough
Both items have a gold chintz patterning around the edges as well as on the cup pedestal base
tea cup and matching saucer decorated in the Royal Stafford pattern 8171
The kettle has a 5 litre capacity
