Here too there is enough wood to mention suffusing the spicier but somewhat surprisingly, less elegant nose of various red berries, earth and a whiff of the sauvage. There is fine intensity to the more refined if less mineral driven flavors that flash excellent length and even better complexity on the moderately austere finale where the wood displayed by the nose reappears.

This is a big Fuées as it’s rare for it to be even more structured than the Baudes

on the youthfully austere and mildly awkward finish as there is just enough dryness to mention

middle weight flavors that flash a hint of bitter cherry on the moderately firm finish

There is fine detail and very solid ripeness to the delicious and equally restrained medium-bodied flavors that also exude a fine minerality on the balanced finish that displays just a touch of rusticity

this is somewhat awkward today and tough to read even though it will almost certainly clean up
