Del Maguey Chichicapa 48% 70cl 1959 Nose: A very tempting aromaDel Maguey Chichicapa 48% ABV A fascinating mezcal made from agave grown in the low elevation, acrid valley close to the village of San Baltazar Chichicapa. The flavour profile is best described as a mix of savoury and sweet: nuttiness and corn alongside chocolate. Its undergone a wild fermentation followed by a double distillation in wood fired, copper stills. Nose: Inviting yet rich, with sweetcorn, asparagus and cooked agave alongside orange peel
