The map shows the public lands designed as BLM, National Park Service, Forest Service, Trust Lands, Reservation, and private. In general, BLM Public Lands are open to a number of recreational activities in addition to those that may be highlighted on the map. These activities

which at the surface makes up a circular area about a mile in diameter that is likely caused by a magma body at depth

From east to west these are (1) the west flank of the San Rafael Swell (2) the south half of the Wasatch Plateau (3) the south half of the Gunnison Plateau (all three within the Colorado Plateaus Province) and 4) the east half of the Valley Mountains (essentially the easternmost range of the Basin and Range Province)
