Russo Japanese War Port Arthur War Dead Commemoration Tower Tea SaucerThis is an antique Japanese army sake cup or tea cup saucer, with a nice picture of the war dead memorial at Port Arthur (still standing today and known as the White Jade Hill Tower). The saucer is shaped like a cherry blossom, with the big words "Loyalty Commendation Memorial" and the small words "218 feet tall" under the tower. There are small cherry blossoms around the central image.

This is an antique Japanese military sake cup

decorated with a picture of a number of soldiers marching into a Chinese city gate with a Japanese flag hanging on a bayonet on the last soldier
