Autoclaves for sterilization in laboratories - Guide to maintenance Ingestion-build-63114 What is BS 6200-31 Scope This Part of BS 2646 gives guidance on the factors that should be taken into account when devising a schedule for the maintenance of laboratory autoclaves of the types specified in BS 2646 1, i. e. autoclaves for the sterilization of materials and goods including those which may be contaminated with organisms categorized in Hazard Groups 1, 2 and 3 but not Hazard Group 4 (see note 1.) NOTE 1 The groups of organisms referred to are those listed
