I lived and went to boarding school in the UK for 7 years, about an hour south of London and am very proud of my half British heritage. I knew my collection of London wouldn't be complete until I got this photograph. While being mostly American myself, my friends still sometimes needle me about the lingering brutishness about me, from living a childhood

I stood on the side walk for a long time

and I were exhausted from a 12 hour day of work

I loved what I did

the Santa Monica pier and Farris wheel

putting my own spin on things

So here's an old-meets-new photographic capture of this epic spot

but seeing it for myself was totally different
