this is awkward

The palate has more density than a lot of Chianti Classico and is quite insistent in terms of grip

especially from magnum

and I had the feeling that 2022 is the year this single-vineyard bottling shows best and above the rest of wines from the year

This sweetness may dissipate once the wood treatment is better integrated though at present it’s not subtle

This is also lightly reduced and about the only element that can be discerned today is a soft application of wood

quinine and flint

lanolin and brown spice-scented bouquet that is very satisfying

Not very bordeaux – more reminiscent of some of the more ambitious Spanish reds at the moment

Once again my projected range offers the benefit of the doubt that the dryness will eventually round out with some time in bottle

Has significant potential for ageing

good concentration and plenty of tannin
