A Large 20thC Wavy Fairground Mirror c.1970-80Origin: English Period: Mid Late 20thC Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1970 80 Width: 25. 75 Height: 67 Depth: 6. 5 Forming a virtual image, the wavy acrylic plate in a stained pine box frame to simulate oak with reeded edges, standing at five and a half feet high and surviving from a house of mirrors attraction at a British fairground or circus. Condition is sound with no apparent damage to note; there is some foxing to the glass, though entirely

The light has had its aged and unsafe wiring replaced and has been PAT tested and is now up to modern standards and is supplied a 3-pin plug

The beautifully curious painted birch wood pigeon carrier house having a semi-elliptical opening to the front

greener eyed and indeed more Irish looking than her husband but she shares the same steady gaze

The George III period pine carcass with a fabulous craquelure period vinegar plum painted finish having a typical mule chest arrangement of two short drawers over a separate blanket chest top with iron strapped hinged lid

whilst the handles are later but suit almost better than the original drop handles

The mirror is in excellent condition with some small amounts of spotting to a handful of the mirror panels giving it a nice authentic feel
