BOWIE - HOYA KRIMSON PRINCESS tropical flowersBowie is one of our favorite hoya varieties! The Crimson (sometimes known as Krimson) Princess is just awesome. She has lovely white and green variegation with blushing tinting on the older leaves and stems. She's also known as hoya tricolor or hoya variegata. She will happily get to legs as long as 6' long, if very happy. :) Light She prefers quite bright filtered light. Her favorite window is an east facing window, but she does OK in South or west.

Light - bright indirect light - if he doesn't get enough light

The standard size is a 2" terracotta

but she can be fussy

and makes pretty baby "pup" rosettes

they just need a weekly soak in the sink (and they love to be sprayed as well

from Pinks to reds

despite seeming like a drama

A few feet from a window is great - and she can even be perfectly happy with a small desk grow light in a windowless office
