Bai Ji Guan 白鸡冠 "White Rooster's Comb" 2018 (Aged Oolong)A different Bai Ji Guan. And not the usual yellow leaves with a light roast. The brewed leaves looks orange and red as it went through a bit more oxidation and got added a bit more of a roast. Instead of the light and crisp sweet corn flavor profile typical to the lighter style Bai Ji Guan varietal, this aged Bai Ji Guan brews more of a mellow minerally red hue with finishing notes of dry sour plum. For those looking for the classic aged oolong taste.
