This clone, characterized by a very thick skin, is macerated in contact with the must wine for approximately 100 days, a period during which we can best extract the varietal's structure and typical aromas. borrowing heavily from the Burgundian system that they both admire

This is from one of the great areas in Chianti (Castellina) from organically grown grapes

The powerful & plush character similarly dominates the palate – with characteristic intensity of fruit – ripe red cherries alongside dark cherries & redcurrents
