Victorian Revival Chenille Ornament | Little Girl on Egg - Spring is HereFor Spring, here's a chenille ornament I made. In a Victorian Revival manner, a little girl in a pink bonnet sits on a sparkly yellow egg and holds a sign that reads SPRING IS HERE. With a small spray of spring flowers to one side, the decoration has a gold cord at the top so that the piece can be hung anywhere you want (actually, I think the piece sure would look cute on or in an Easter Basket)! Measures 4" high x 1 3 4" wide and is very lightweight

I added a portion of an ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN postcard (the pansies portion) then added a MODERN DAY die cut of a pair of angels

there is no cording The head is made of spun cotton and the hair is silver mica glass

GET WELL QUICK is the sentiment and the graphics are of a girl and boy pulling a cart full of potted flowers

While all the gems are a fairly consistent size and cream color

I covered the heart with mauve moire taffeta

Would look terrific framed
