Michel Lafarge, Meursault Vendanges Selectionees Vintage:2022 mocha and liqueur-like aromas of(from En Marcausse). This is aromatically similar to the straight Meursault but with more floral elements that include carnation and lilac. On the palate the medium bodied flavors are clearly denser with a beautifully textured, caressing and seductive mouthfeel, all wrapped in a sneaky long and impeccably well balanced finale. This could use better depth but the underlying material is clearly present for that to occur in time.
