Tillandsia heteromorphaTillandsia Heteromorpha grows on rocks and cliff faces in Peru. It has attractive silver leaves, can grow into a nice clump in time. The flower spike is light pink in colour and the flowers are white and purple bicolour. Tillandsia heteromorpha is a lovely and very easy species to grow. This species likes high light levels and regular misting with good air movement.

Interestingly this is the first ever Bromeliad hybrid to be patented in 15/11/1949
